Build your skills, piece by piece
Small beginnings. Big possibilities.
Start with foundations and fit, then move into windows, multi-piece sets, settings and sculptural designs. Each level builds on the last.
What about the tools?
You’ll use a rotary tool, electric wax carver, carving tools, scalpel, jewellery wax, precision caliper, Type IV dental stone and impression material.
My current starter-tool estimate is US$300–400, separate from the course price. This is not a complete production-workshop budget; casting, metal, stones and outside services can cost extra.
Start with the essentials and add tools as you progress. Message me if you’re unsure what you need.
Level 1 · BeginnerFoundations & fit
Get to know your tools, prepare models and carve your first soft- and hard-wax caps.
Model preparation, tooth anatomy, materials and equipment, using a wax pen, making carving tools, soft wax cap parts 1 and 2, hard wax cap parts 1 and 2.
Level 2 · IntermediateWindows & multi-piece work
Explore window designs, gap fillers, two-piece grillz and more challenging tooth shapes.
Basic window, pretty window, window for setting, heart window, finishing windows, bar gap filler, star gap filler, finishing gap fillers, basic two-piece grillz parts 1 and 2, difficult-teeth two-piece.
Level 3 · AdvancedSettings & statement shapes
Flowers, stars, prong setting, colour-filled caps and four-piece designs.

A few things you might be wondering before you start.
Can I start from zero?
Yes. Level 1 starts with model preparation, tools, materials and the foundations of wax carving. Work through the lessons at your own pace and build from there.
How do I access the course?
The course is hosted on Discord. Once your purchase is complete, follow the course-access instructions supplied with your order. You can watch the lessons and join the community there.
Do I need a full workshop?
You can start the wax-carving lessons with a smaller set of tools. Making finished metal grillz also involves casting and finishing, so your equipment or outside-service needs depend on your setup. Ask me before investing in expensive machinery.
Can I ask you questions?
Yes. Share your progress and questions in the Discord community for feedback and discussion with me and other makers.
How long do I get access?
You get lifetime course access, including new lessons added over time. There’s no fixed pace: revisit lessons as your skills grow.
